Does the president bow to the vice president? t's clear Floyd wanted the fight but Manny and his people didn't and still don't cause if they wont fight Marquez what in the hell makes you think they would go anywhere near Floyd? 7 fighters in a row coming off HUGE losses!!!!! I came up on Leonard, Hagler, Hearns and Duran dude talk to a stiff that doesn't know what a real champion is.
you talk about pac ducking marquez? that's a tired, pathetic, act. Pac has gone 24 rounds with marquez. as for pac & floyd, well we all know who started asking for a test never done before in the history of prize fighting up to that point & never asked his previous 40 opponents.
let me give you a hint,
it was not pac.

Martinez is in his late 30's and is finally at a point in his career where he can make real paper. It doesn't make sense for him to fight against opponents who are not as popular yet. So I agree with the opponents his team called out. Martinez deserves to cash in at least for the moment.

Let the grown-ups speak.
Now you and OJ can go talk about fight-night weight, and any other completely irrelevant issue, with the other kids over there in the sandpit
Run along now.
Noobs
Fight-night weight? Really?
FACT: The amount of muscle-mass and conditioning that you take into a fight is solely determined at the weigh-in, rehydration weight has absolutely nothing to do with it and can even be detrimental.
Just more whiney excuses from the Pac-kids.

Shane KO'd Margarito who TKO'd Cotto prior and took the title from Margarito that he took from Cotto. Shane was the man to beat, not Cotto. Shane would have been a much better look than Cotto. Doesn't help that Shane had to beg Pac either. Also doesn't help that Miguel Cotto is Top Rank so we all know that Pac was not trying to fight Shane because according to Roach. He didn't want to give Shane the fight at 147 (like Oscar) but rather 142/143 (knowing Shane couldn't make it) because he felt he didn't want to give Shane an advantage over Pac? (didn't even offer 145 like Cotto) That is called a duck my friend because we all know at that point Shane was the better fighter on paper and in the ring.

I agree, Pac is most likely a nice guy. Not sure about Mayflower though? I think that he most likely is a pretty good guy once you get to know him. Who knows? I don't really care too much about stuff like that.
There's no way he fights Martinez, The risk too great, the need too small.
If he had a loss on his record, and nothing on the horizon, then he most likely would take that fight..... and most likely win.
