agreed ,imho martinez at the moment is number one pac is a good solid fighter whos fun to watch, but frankly the level of competetion is nowhere near what martinez 'z is not only facing but beating.pac has stretched the gravy train at least 3 or four fights too long and thats being generous. sergio is just as fun to watch if not more because he has more ko power and hes not ducking dodging and cherry picking every fight like pac and mayweather are. and frankly mayweather is just too inactive to even be a factor.sergio doesnt have time on his side hes beat the best ,and pac and mayweather will run away as they always do when somebody that can beat them like martinez comes along ,so through blood guts honor and bravery and just simply the beating the best comp out there martinez officially or unofficially is the new pound for pound king. *******s should be happy the pressure is off their guy and frankly pac has had his run. its time for people to recognize the best when they really are the best and thats martinez.if pac wants to keep fighting bum after bum after bum and charging $60 for that thats fine and if his fans wants to pay for that great! but reality at some point has to set in pac doesnt really fight anybody, 40 yr olds with 6 losses , washed up shopworn fighters coming off devastating defeats doth not make pac number one sorry its only the truth, that goes for mayweather too.its just common senseComment

Oh come on man. The difference is this: the Margarito/Manny fight was for a paper title at a CATCHWEIGHT. Secondly, I don't even consider that win all that special, simply because I truly feel that Margarito was there to collect a paycheck. Nothing more, nothing less. He wasn't there to compete. And he didn't even show up, FFS. He basically just sat there and let Manny bomb away on his face for twelve rounds. And don't hand me that garbage about him ****ing Manny to the body. Either he was there to put Manny over, or he aged A LOT during his layoff. One way or the other, it's not an impressive win for Manny in my eyes.Comment

Pac wont step up neither will floyd cotto is the only one who will and he can beat martinez sergio opp are not the caliber of cotto martinwz is big and fast but cotto cann hit him and martinez has been getting cut recently cotto has that jab and left hook it will be a good fight 50/50 but im going with my boy if martinez beats froch or bute then cotto has no shot but pwill pavlik and that german are not in cotto leagueComment

Agreed but winning the title from peg leg Foreman is any more spectacular? Jacobs > Foreman. Pirog is a much tougher fight for Martinez than Cotto who would probably lose to at least 4 or 5 guys at LMW (Williams, Dzinziruk, Kirkland, Angulo, Cintron, Lara, Konecny)Comment
