to be honest Roach has not taught James Toney anything everything he has learned he got it from Bill "Pops" Miller....The only thing Roach is there for is just to keep him focused in the corner and tell him what he sees and if he is down or up in the score thats all....Don't get me wrong i like Freddie Roach cause he is super calm and i like how he does the Mits (wish he could train me but no way in hell that will ever happen....only a dream i guess) but either way the guy is good but the best out now i don't think so but he is up there

when it comes to trainers what i like about them is how they talk in the corner if it inspires you to wanna get out there and fight and the best at that to me is the Mayweather brothers i just like how they talk in the corner it gives you a since like they believe in you especially Floyd "we gon get this son of a *****" thats classic when he told De La Hoya that in the Hopkins fight

but either way Roach gets his just due

Roach is up there with the top guys like Manny Steward! But I like what Buddy is doing. The way he was able to transfer the knowledge he gained as a fighter to being a teacher, not many guys can or will do that! I look for big things from him.

I think Roach is def. one of the top trainers right now. I wonder how much longer he will be able to train before his parkisons takes over.

Roach is definitely one of the best trainers. Look at what he did with Pac with amplifying what Pac can already do. I was also impressed by the way he had Pac last Saturday use the right hand more. If he can do that he'll be more of a complete fighter & that's an accomplishment. Goosen is also very good with what he's did with Mosley in the 2nd Winky fight & with he did with Chico. I still think the best trainer is Stewart because of his knowldege; he seems like he's a good teacher.
