No, not even close, sorry Manny. I think hes above average at best. I'm sure any random scrub could train Pacman just as good as Roach does. I mean Pac is so one-dimensional what exactly has Roach taugt him?
Also, even I could give Pac better instructions not just "use ur speed!!!use ur speed!!"

Karmazing beat Ouma because Ouma had the flu... I've never seen Ouma fight like that...like 25 punches per round when he averages like 100?

Freddie Roach will always be degraded by certain people because they will always judge him based on Manny Pacquiao. I still do think that without him, Pac wouldn't be where he is now. Sometimes, it's not just about developing a certain skill that the trainer taughts his fighters. There's mental toughness, conditioning, etc.

He has worked with 18 World Champions. I don't think it's pure luck.

BTW, that HBO piece of Roach was touching, especially the closeness between him and Pac, like a real father and son.

I think Goosen is the best trainer out there right now,as in, theres a noticable differnce in his ifghters I dont think roach even comes close, I think hes average,Pac dosent need him,James toney sure as hell dosent need him,I dont see what work you see there as impressive considering James fat ass his last time, dont get me wrong Im a JT fan,but serously wtf has Roach done? Maybe that Russian, but its the only time anybodys ever even seen that dude,so i wouldnt be too hasty in giving him credit for that. Also like somebody else brought up,Ive never heard roach give any usefull advice in the corner.
