He should fight Lara or Vanes to see where he's at. My respect just went back up for Paul after this interview. But him not wanting to go down to 147 and his promoter wanting him to do it could be conflicting interests. Goosen doesn't want to throw him in with a tough opponent even if Paul feels like redeeming himself.

Williams would be reliving the ko the entire training camp and once in the ring, dude would freeze up and get taxed all over again. Martinez by ko/tko in 3 rds.....especially if he has no other fights under his belt before taking that match.

Pure guts? What else is he gonna say?

And Martinez is the only way hes gonna make money. Pac and Floyd aint got a reason to fight Williams.

            Spare me the love stories

There are alot of other good fights for Williams. There is no need in calling out a fighter who already beat him twice. I admire the fact that he wants to fight Martinez though

Like I said before that loss to Martinez, Williams needs to fix a few things defensively. I hope that's what Williams means by "I'm working hard"

I always said Mayweather should have fought him because P-Will was always there to be countered and although Mayweather probably wouldn't have KO'd him, he would have schooled him easily. But now that Williams has been exposed, Mayweather wouldn't get nowheres near the credit if he would have got to him before Martinez. I look at the Quintana fight as an abberation, and he proved it in his annihilation of him in the rematch. And then when Quintana lost to Berto, all hope of a third fight was gone. I believe if Williams can get a solid wins under his belt, however, he would have earned the rematch but he better shore up his defense otherwise the same thing will happen again...
The " Williams could beat Mayweather " synopsis, is almost as ridiculous as that "Margarito could beat Mayweather" rubbish. Ya gotta wonder why people watch this sport sometimes.
