P Willie would have to really prove himself to get a rematch imo. It's the same thing with Quintana with P Will. When you get demolished like he did a rematch is not really needed. The way you do get a rematch though is by redeeming yourself against worthy opponents. If Paul can string a couple of solid wins together a third fight should happen.

You gotta' love Paul's willingness to face Martínez but if he feels he deserves a rubber match after that kind of result, then he might as well give Quintana a rubber match while he's at it. They were both similar results. Hell, I'd say getting KO'D by Martínez was worse for Paul than Quintana getting TKO'd (record-wise).

When you get knocked out like that, you hardly ever come back the same. That was the KO of the year...sickening.

dont know, he won a first fight that couldve gone either way and he got KOed in the 2nd round of the 2nd fight. Dont know why looking for a trilogy, Martinez got the scheme for Williams chin...

Yall ***in kill me. Its not up to us to say Paul Williams should show us how he can recover from the KO. He only has to proveit to himself. At his best he's one of the best in boxing. He's earned everything he's got in this sport. You go around hyping up prospects like they deserve more. I laugh at the thought of Pwill having to fight in a tournament to face Canelo. The boy is humble, stays in shape and fights hard for you silly ass so called fans and recieves nothing but asses to kiss. Whats even more petty is that he actually gets hated on for being tall. He made a gameplan error on the 2nd fight. A few adjustments and he can beat Martinez easy. I say for him to take one tune up and then fight Martinez if Martinez has the balls.
