As an American who has been a major fan of the Klitschko's for as long as they've been showcased on American television I find these accusations pretty fowl and unwarranted. I am also a fan of B-Hop, but it has nothing to do with him being an American. I am a fan of Carl Froch, doesn't matter to me where he is from. I am a fan of Tomasz Adamek, don't care where he's from. Fan of Mikkell Kesslar, don't care where he's from. Fan of Ricky Hatton, don't care where he's from. All kinds of fighters, and where they are from is of no concern to me as far as whether I like them or not. Traditionally fighters from different countries have different styles and I love that. Mexican fighters, European fighters, American fighters, they all have different styles traditionally and that is the only thing that national origin has to do with it as far as I am concerned. It can be an indicator of style.

I also wanted to note that I can't stand Floyd Mayweather, and I wouldn't care if he was from Zimbabwe, Zanzibar, or long ago in a galaxy far far away. These are stereotypes or something that you are perpetrating for no other reason than the fact that you have no other argument to give.

not their fault they are bigger and stronger than most of their opponents. i may not find them boring but i dont find them exciting either. definitely hall of famers. but to say they dont have skills are just pure hates. ive seen few of their fights and i know they are pretty good.

I don't like them because they have that robotic Euro style which is lacking in variety and versatility. What they do works and works well for them, don't get me wrong...I just prefer heavyweights to show more skills than they do.

Another factor is that the heavyweight division is so horrible right now. Which in fairness is not their fault.

Knock them the hell out, instead Wlad fights like a scared girl against the likes of Ibragimov and Thompson, when he has the skills and power to KO them in 3 rounds.
The most common complaint from US fans is that they're boring, you're trying to say the most common complaint is they fight weak competition.

You're moving the goalposts to suit your argument against the Klitschkos.

BHop and Mayweather are just as boring, if not even more so, BHop is dirty on top of it and Mayweather is the most cautious fighter in boxing, yet they're talked up by US fans all the time so don't pretend there is no double standard.

You're an individual, I was speaking in general terms. There are fans of every boxer from every nation.

How is their style lacking in variety or versatility? last I checked they have no problem throwing smooth combo's, and as far as versatility goes, they've been versatile enough to adjust to every style they've faced so where are they lacking there either?

You prefer heavyweights to show more skill huh? Well you're **** out of luck partner because they are the most skilled heavyweights in the world by a mile and counting. They display better skills in the ring than the rest of the heavyweights IN THE WORLD. Comprehend that. They are displaying virtually every skill a boxer could posses in spades. The fact that you can't see that does not equate to them not displaying enough skills, it equates to you not knowing what you are watching and having enough boxing knowledge to understand everything that they are doing in the ring. I am sorry to sound like such a d*ck about it, but that's what it is. You aren't going to find any better. What they do might not look like a ****ing bar fight, but it's effective and the fact of the matter is that if someone does know how to actually box, it shouldn't be a big slugfest. It should be slower and methodical because a true boxer is going to wear down their opponent.

What you are really saying is that you like "Fighters" not Boxers. You want guys who will go out there with no concern for their safety and livelihood who will be really aggressive and throw tons of wild punches. If you want some ******s mindlessly throwing punches at each other, there is always MMA. They pretend they know how to box, maybe that will suit you.

I wouldn't call it so much disliked...they get fried on the forums but the whole thing is that if they were American they would be the best thing since sliced bread & marketed that way. They're heroes in Germany....it's all perception.. we're programmed to hate on the Russians or European athletes because they're not from the states. Also..don't forget alot of jealousy is at play here... they are so dominant & are destroying American heavies to the point of embarassing & to combat there feelings of envy..they get called boring..despite knocking out 86% of there foes collectively. What all the haters are doing by stating they're boring & why don't they get knockouts sooner..rather than later..they're basically admitting how great they are & how much better they are than the opponent. THEY'RE GETTING FRIED BECAUSE THEY'RE TOO damn good.. boring & non excitement is just the excuse. They have collectively the highest KO percentage in heavyweight history..... for that to be boring..there's got to be foul play involved & i'm calling BS here on the entire Klitschko hate.... **** I used to hate MJ.. BECAUSE he just destroyed everyone in his wake.... & that fool who said why don't they go for the kill like past champions before them... when these past champions went for the kill at a much inferior rate ..it's beyond laughable.

A very honest post and I tend to agree.

                  You seem upset.

I was just giving my sincere and honest reasons for not liking them. It's just one man's opinion, you can take it or leave it.

And yeah I don't think that a 1-2 with an occasional left hook is the height of boxing skill. Sue me.

Them not being American has very little to do with it either. Manny Pacquiao and Sergio Martinez for example are almost universally embraced by U.S. fans even though last time I checked they are not American.

i agree with u. if they were Americans they would be more popular and more recognized around the world they way they dominate the heavyweight division. so it still has something to do with the race. race is always a factor.

Manny Pacquiao and Sergio Martinez aren't Americans. Please explain why they are popular and recognized while the Klitschkos aren't.
