The perception of the Klitschkos in the U.S. – which once produced the greatest heavyweights -- probably also is skewed because they come from Ukraine.

Imagine if the Klitschkos – tall, good looking, college educated, so successful – were American. Rest assured that any perceived deficiencies would be overlooked on this side of the Atlantic. The brothers would get much more credit for what they’ve accomplished and probably enjoy star status here.

“They’d be on the cover of all the American magazines and no one would be complaining about the heavyweights,” Larry Merchant said.

In other words: Americans value boxers by their out-of-the ring behavior. Now I understand why you elected an actor as the POTUS.

Everything about them is boring. That's the reason HBO or anyone else in the US doesn't bother showing their fights, no-one's interested!

People who lump "the Klitschkos" together as if they are the same fighter are ignorant and not to be taken seriously.

They can't find me one fight of Vitali's where he clinches excessively and overly relies on the jab, because he doesn't fight that way now and never has.

Vitali is an exciting fighter with a killer instinct and rock solid chin. Lennox hit him with one uppercut that would have KO'd most heavyweight champions in the history of boxing, and Vitali just kept on coming at him.

If a Vitali fight is boring, it's because his opponent doesn't want to engage, a la Kevin Johnson.

Wlad used to fight more like Vitali until Manny took over, but what he does now works for him, even though it is not always the most crowd pleasing style.

              You're a dumbass.

Maybe the fact that English is their fourth language has something to do with the way they sound.

You'd obviously prefer someone who can barely speak one language.

Ross Greenburg who decided not to show their fights is about to be fired from HBO, so that didn't work out too well for him.

And now he's decided he wants to start showing their fights again.

Half of Clay's fights are worse than anything Klitschko ever delivered.
Yep. For every good fight of Clay's, he had a half dozen stinkers. And the guy clinched ALL THE TIME. Which is why I find complaints about Wlad's clinching ironic. It was good enough for the supposed 'Greatest,' but it's bad when Wlad does it.

I dont live in MINNESOTA NOR CALIFORNIA, NEITHER DO I VOTE, ITS A WASTE OF TIME....

You are talking about out of ring behaviour, but tehir interviews are horrible, and it doesnt help that once again tehir personalities are dry, but I FIND A LOT OF people from russia and teh surrounding area have dry personalities....

I have never seen a good russian comedian, or a good asian comedian, and while I know we are talking about boxing, to be taken to the next level by fans you ghave to have a good personality, hell people like david haye more than them!!

                    Because david haye has personality.....

WE WERE ASKED AND I SIMPLY ANSWERED, THEY ARE BORING... FROM THEIR HIGH ASS TRUNKS, TO THEIR INTERVIEWS, TO THEIR FIGHTS....

AMERICANS ARE USED TO SEEING GREAT FIGHTERS WITH PERSONALITY, ALI, HOLYFIELD, TYSON, ETC.

I feel like Wlad doesn't like to let go of the right hand until he knows he opponent has very little left.

Besides that i give both fighters respect.
That's an entirely legitimate criticism and an excellent post.
