In all seriousness though, any chance someone is following up on it? I'd really like to know whether it was true or not.

Like many, I felt he was faking it just to save face and avoid getting KTFO, but on the other hand I noticed he got up on steady legs and didn't seem too hurt, so I'm not sure what to make of it. (granted, it was a huge hook, and he did get wobbled by a jab shortly afterward)
