Sergio Martinez should fight Kermit Cintron again

That's a reasonable match. He can fight Cintron as a tune up fight and avenge that "draw" and then go on to fight the Top 160 lb fighters. Just so I can see that puto Cintron cry more.

Why bother? Everyone knows Sergio won that fight, Sergio now would beat him even easier, and Cintron doesn't deserve it. Better fights out there.

That's actually not a bad idea.

I don't know if martinez plans on campaigning at both 160 and 154 or just 160, but Cintron is currently #1 at 154 according to The Ring.

Agree with this. He shouldn't waste his time. No use obsessing over some bad judging. In the end, he knows the score between them.

It wasn't that good of a fight, Sergio and everyone else knows he really won so why bother.

            yeah I know.

but HBO said they are going to have Martinez fight in July and then on a big PPV in November.

So maybe Cintron could be his "easy fight" against a named opponent that leads into his PPV fight.

I'm just thinking realistically there probably aren't too many options. Cotto-Margarito is set. James Kirkland doing tune ups for the time being. Angulo cant fight in the US. Sturm LOL. DiBella opposes Pirog. Lara vs K9 is set.

Doesn't leave much. Cintron is a pretty decent name, plus there is controversy they could sell and revenge. Another name is Vanes, but if I recall he turned down a fight with Martinez once already (maybe I'm wrong about that).

They could probably work an Angulo match for July. Hopefully he isn't ****** enough to price himself out this time. I don't want to see a Cintron rematch. Martinez needs more variety on his resume.

I believe it would have to take place outside of the US though. Plus, if they fight in July that will be one year off for Angulo not sure if he'd be willing to do that (lol I wouldn't if I were him cuz he'd get his ass beat).

Nah let Williams fight Cintron. Sergio is beyond that at this point...now if Cintron KTFO Williams then he makes a bit of a case for the fight down the road maybe but well have to see..

Not that I'm like super hyped to see cintron vs martinez or anything, but:

Realistically who else is there for Martinez? Vanes?
