Martinez is pretty damn good, but he's beatable, if you chose to listen to Dibella alone, and only him, you'd come away thinking Martinez is a God....but he's not. I don't really care that he said **** Pirog, I'm disappointed that fight is more or less sc****d for the future. Sergio needs to man up for what. When he fights Pirog who is a good looking fighter with height, skills and pressure. He may look good for a while but if Martinez wins easily then he still want get credit for beating Pirog. Look, I'm not one of those guys saying Martinez MUST fight Pirog RIGHT now or he's ducking him! I understand building up the fight. Personally, I think by the end of the year Martinez will realize pirog is one of the best options for him because there aren't too many guys he can fight and floyd & pac aren't coming to 154. Also, I believe HBO is giving Pirog a date soon after his upcoming fight in Russia, so that could build it up some more.

That is all I am saying, I sure would love to see the fight and see what Pirog really has but to say Sergio is ducking at this point goes too far.

I'm thinking though, who is a realistic opponent for Martinez in July? I've spoke about it in another thread, and really most all the named opponents are not availbile - (cotto is fighting margarito, lara fighting k9, angulo cant fight in US, Sturm yeah right, kirkland fighting tune ups not ready). That only leaves Vanes, Cintron and Pirog. Unless I'm missing someone.
