The only way he'll be on PPV is if he leeches off a bigger name like the Cotto vs Margarito winner. I can guarantee at least 500,000 if that were to happen. I suspect HBO will also finally give Martinez a 24/7 in order to promote the fight.

damn, thats crazy to hear martinez on ppv, i love the fact of not paying for ppv to watch his fights. i think he should fight some good mw in july, if he gets the cotto/margs winner, then yeah ppv, but if its some euro guy, then leave it on hbo bad.

He'll probably fight another jr mw because the other eligible candidates at MW are Europeans who aren't going to leave their homelands to fight in the US. Pirog maybe but I don't think HBO wants him to fight again after he ruined their prodigy Jacobs.

I'm guessing either Brundrage or Martiroysan as "easy fights" prior to a big PPV event in November. Likely a Cotto showdown or a match with Kirkland. I know he wants the big money fights but HBO is trying to make him a staple fighter now so the will likely give him an easier opponent so that they can plan a big payday PPV card to end the year.

He needs a Cotto level name asap, but fighting on PPV with no name will only stunt his development as a superstar.
