But personally, I would like to see Martinez up against Arthur Abraham [when he loses to Ward] to test the waters up at 168. Depending on how he performs, maybe we can see him against Mikkel Kessler and other top 10 fighters up there. Martinez is 36 however and this is something a young man should be doing.
36 year olds aren't supposed to be peaking the way he is right now either.. I think if anyone can do it, it's Sergio. The guys got a great chin as well. His offense and all around game is so strong people forget how well he takes a punch. He was for the most part eating Dizzy's punches with ease.

He was a MW in 2009, Pac was at 140 and then WW the same year. The year before, Manny was a featherweight.

He's p4p and there aren't many folks at MW for him. I think if he's as good as he appears he should start thinking about some of the guys at SMW as well. There is a ton of stiff competition up there.

Seems like most people in this tread believe that Floyd & Manny would have to see him at 160,they don't.He'll return to 154 for those 2 former jr middleweight titlist. They won't have to come to another weight class, sorry. There really isn't any excuse why champs at 154 couldn't fight Martinez there.

Drew, margarito hasn't looked good since he fought Cotto. Was found a cheater, suspended then beat a bum.Manfredo just beat Mora who in return fought to a draw against pacman's next opponent.Coincidence??Nope.

I'm just saying I think a good indicator of P4P worth is the ability to fight at higher weights. There isn't much comp at MW, there's a lot at SMW. Show everyone what you're worth. I think Martinez can beat a lot of those guys.

And? Pac fought at 154 for a belt in his last fight to become a titleholder in his 8th different weight class, so now he shouldnt be available at 154 if Martinez wants him there? And now all of a sudden you seem to be trying to move Pac out of the way..Got to protect your man hey
