I didn't get to see his fight against Mayo and just got home from partying last night...

Did he look that bad against an old, war worn Mayorga, whose best years were a long time ago?

Must be, because these Stans are defending Cotto like a mother.....

It was not competitive at all Cotto won nearly every round but I guess if you get hit by punches it means you looked bad.

they both took plenty of punishment...mayorga's face was twice the size it was before the fight and his eyes were near closed

Just in case you think I am a Cotto or PR boxer stan before a fan of the sport....

I had Margy over Cotto the very first fight.

Now since that is cleared up...Cotto outboxed and outclassed a pretty good Mayorga. He also did what Cotto does when caught with flurries of punches...backup, dodge and readjust his footwork (which the Cotto haterz will call running)...and then came back and gave Ricardo a concussion in his hand.
