REPEAT! Mosely KO'd Mayorga and Margarito in the 12th and 9th.

The only fighter Mosley has problems with is a boxer. His loss record speaks for that. If Pac is smart, then he goes the Cotto route and boxes Mosley. Not smart to give Mosley any openings.

          whers miss gayweather

Why doesn't anyone ask gayweather to face martinez? hahahaha let's see how good gaywether really is when facing a real boxer. I'll donate $1000 to this site if gayweather mans up and decide to face sergio. But we all know this won't happen. An how about his drugadict uncle and father? I haven't hear from them either. nitramzaid@hotmail.com

Well that had nothing to do with the topic now did it?

Shane was Breathing out of his mouth after Round 6 in the Mora Fight too, which I think is part of the reason (as in one half, the Mayweather fight being the other part of it) why people are saying he'll be easy pickings.

But with that, why are people acting like Pac stopped him already? Fight is still two months away.

Shane WOULD be smart to box and counter... Shane's power would overwhelm Pacman if this was the case... BUT Shane is a brawler, not a boxer. Shane's problem lies in SOMETIMES getting outsmarted in the ring by far lesser competition and lack of defense. Mayorga would beat him to the punch, Winky was able to put punches together even though he was defensive minded, Mora was able to keep him off balance with his awkward style, Forrest wasn't as TALENTED as Shane but gave him nightmares with his reach, timing and distance... Vargas was up on one of the scorecards before he got KO'd in the 10th... Its hard to tell which Shane you'll see sometimes... The Mosley that fought Cotto was sloppy, yet he came in and destroyed Margarito.

Pac's advantages increase when his opponents come forward because it allows him to step in and out with 3 punch combinations which lead to cuts. When the opponent boxes backwards as was the case with JMM and Morales, Pac seems to struggle and gets outlanded and looks sloppy. If you box, you stand a better chance... If you come forward and brawl, you just stepped into Pac's Alley... COUNTER PUNCHERS are Pacman's worst nightmare... We'll see how Shane fares.

If Mosley was smart, he would go back to what made him great in the late 1990's. After he fought ODLH the first time, he fell in love with his power. If he loads up against Pacquiao and tries to land one big punch (like the way he fought Mayweather), Pacman will eat his alive. If Mosley just took the power off his punches and let them go, he would have a much better chance. The problem is in every fight he starts loading up and the worst thing that happened for him was hurting Floyd Jr in the second round. From that point on, he just herked and jerked and looked to land a bomb. Next thing you know it's the 9th round and he was virtually done.

So here's what Mosley needs to do. He still has the speed so he needs to let his punches go and just try to get to Manny. They won't hurt so that would make Manny start taking more chances and that's when Mosley should start adding more mustard to his shots, probably around the 5th round. Even though I don't think that would be enough to beat Pacquiao, that is his only strategic chance to get a victory.

Here's the problem though. Mosley hasn't fought that way in over a decade and I wouldn't be surprised if the fight ended late for a TKO with Mosley quitting on his stool. If Pacquiao laid him out, that would make a big statement but Mosley doesn't get KO'd although Forrest came close in the 10th in their first fight. I just don't see Mosley changing his style back to what made him great and from the 4th or 5th round on, I see a beating. I like Shane and am happy he is getting one last payday after his ex-wife ****d him but I think this should be it for him. I just hope he doesn't get hurt...

I think that Freddie is 100% correct.

I think that Shane will not win a decision against Manny, and he is highly unlikely to TKO him late in the fight.

I think that Shane should look to jump on Manny early, while he is fresh, and before Manny settle's in. The longer this fight goes, the less chance he has to make an impact on Pac.

I am saying that because I do not believe that Shane can win a decision, and I do not believe that he can win the fight with one punch.

Shane needs to make his mark early in that fight.
