He said he would hurt Margarito. Max I believe quoted him on that. If you dont believe he would destroy Margarito in less than 8 I don't know what to say. Martinez is too fast and too powerful for no plaster/power cheato who cant ever get out of the way of anything. There's a difference in Mosley, Cotto and Pac's power who all gave Margarito some leather.
My problem is Pac, he wants to be man enough to "claim" a 154 title I see no problem what so ever in Martinez vs Pac AT JMW aka the 154 limit aka the JMW limit aka neither can weigh OVER 154. Floyd's "run" at 154 is at least legit and I call upon him to step in the ring with this guy who I think he's ducking unlike that of Pac who everyone will dismiss when and if they ever meet in the ring. You need size/height/reach/speed to beat Mayweather, Pac doesn't provide half that and cant deal with a counter puncher let alone someone who wont just stand there or come forward.
Martinez destroys Cotto and Margarito. I wouldn't mind seeing (FOR FREE) Margarito vs Mayorga after Margarito gets beat by Cotto of course.
At the end of the day when the SUPER SIX is over I would like to see Martinez face the winner (WARD IMO) in the meantime Pac will continue to face fighters on a 2 year losing spree aka Clottey, Margarito/Cheato, Mosley.
All Mayweather has to do is come back and fight someone like Berto and that trumps Pac's entire run in 2010/2011 vs shot Top Rank in house fighters put together by good ol' Bob who has an agenda.

People make no f.......g sense. always dogging fighters for who they fight. Some are deserving(berto v. hernandez) but how is what sergio did bad? With a million divisions now it is almost impossible to avoid "smaller" fighters. So let's get this straight dumba$$, martinez is a b...h because he won't fight froch or bute at 168? wouldn't that make froch or bute guilty of picking on a smaller fighter? No it wouldn't because froch would be calling out one of the top p4p fighters in the world. That's exactly what sergio did.
Can't even see the hypocrisy in your own post. I bet the same people complaining about a two weight division difference between pac and sergio are calling for a manny marquez match up.........f......g sad.
Sergio already told the truth, he knows (believes) he would kill the smaller pac or floyd. He also knows that the money and status he dreams of will only be attained by beating one of the two previously named legends. He also wasn't happy with the whole 154 stripping and said he wanted his belt back........sadly he can't get that one so he called out the three top guys who could fight at 154.
Are you even BOXING FANS? because those are fights I want to see. Fans actually calling for sergio v. bute or sturm or even pirog........you need help if you would rather see those than manny v. sergio or floyd v. sergio. Those would be huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

The logic of some people on this site (not just some a pretty large chunk) is borderline ******ed.
Sergio calls out Pac and Cotto to fight him at a catch weight or possibly even at 154lbs a weight BOTH guys have fought at, Sergio should step up to 168lbs and fight the likes of Froch?
Complete and utter nonsense lets translate it.
Sergio would beat the crap out of Pac and Cotto at 154 or a catch weight close to that weight so we want him to step up and fight guys at a weight he has never fought at. So that he can lose and go away and our hero's can carry on beating the likes of 38 year old Mayorga and 40 year old Shane who hasn't won a fight in over 2 years.Comment

So its ok for Cotto to fight at and win a title at 154lbs against second rate fighters like foreman and then defend it against a shot to **** Mayorga?
But its not ok for him to fight at 154lbs and defend his title against someone good enough to make him quit again?
So is Cotto to small for good fighters who can make 154lbs but not to small for him to fight second string opposition at 154lbs......... LOL
