No it's just I'm being realtic and realize that Manny won't face Martinez until he faces Floyd or realizes a fight with him will never happen.

You are nothing more than a troll. I say this because I know you understand enough about boxing to know that these guys have fights that make more sense right now.

I have no doubts one of these guys will face Martinez, it's just not gonna happen right away.

Maybe you don't feel that way but alot of posters on here are making excuses for their favorite fighters. How am I trolling?

We don't know that because Floyd hasn't said anything about fighting at all. The only thing he said when Martinez name was brought up, he said maybe. Pacquiao's side on the other hand made it clear that they wants no part of Sergio Martinez.

that was a mispost of mine don't quote me on that...look at my next post. but regarding your claim...keep wishing but martinez is all that's wrong for floyd. bigger, more powerful, southpaw, got speed, very good jab, good ring movement and can fight defensively. floyd will certainly be the underdog in this matchup...floyd doesn't go in a fight like that.

No, my point is this:

If Martinez says he is too small for 168, then I'm cool with that. If Martinez wants to take a money fight against Cotto instead of facing Pirog....cool Martinez definitely deserves it.

Me bringing up those points are only to highlight certain posters hypocrisy.

People will have a heart attack if any of those guys came out and said Sergio is too big for them (something they haven't done or hinted at) yet they give Sergio a pass for doing so.

Then people bash Manny for facing shot fighters in Margarito and Mosley. Well if those guys are shot then you have to say Miguel is as well.

FWIW I want to see Pacquiao vs Martinez because I feel alot of people will be shocked. The thing though is Cotto isn't facing Martinez before he facing Margarito and neither Floyd or Manny are facing Martinez before facing each other....or until they give up trying to make the fight happen. That's not a duck it's just those are the fights that make more sense right now and the best thing Martinez can do is just continue to dominate and one of thosebig names will fight him eventually.

The point is easy and simple, Pacquiao,Mayweather, Cotto, Margarito CAN all fight Martinez, Martinez ISNT too big for anyone of them, We dont need fight fans telling anyone about how Martinez should GO to 168 for a fight when he can fight other HIGH-PROFILES at 154 with all those names.

Yes he can fight at 168 but he's more close to 154 and i for one would LOVE to see him against all those 4 names, Whoever wants to step up out of those names, You wouldnt see me making excuses or telling Martinez to move up just because he has Mayweather on his sight.
