Already did, He went up and beat Pavlik's asss, Can back down and knock Williams the ****k out..Its Pac, Mayweather and now Cotto who need to challenge themselves. If Martinez can make 154 then he should be fighting all those names, If Pavlik can make 154 then he should be fighting all those names, No excuses about how he might be too big for them.

Pac recently beat Margarito who happens to be physically bigger than Martinez, Cotto just beat Maryoga who physically is bigger than Martinez and Mayweather has fought at 154 before. I see nothing here but excuses from so called "Really boxing fans".

He's MW champ and there are others like Sebsatian Zbik, Felix Sturm, Sebastian Sylvester and Dimitry Pirog, you don't think he should be fighting them first?

Pac has a fight 2 months from now and he's one crazy lil' midget and may be crazy enough to contemplate on fighting sergio. Floyd on the other hand is on vacation and went on vacation years ago when margo and cotto were other champions in his divisions.

no, martinez needs to challenge HIMSELF. you get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for fighting guys that are smaller then you. if martinez is truly the p4p number 1 (which many think) he needs to move up to his actual weight class & take on guys like froch, dirrell, aurther, kessler, even pirog. you see TIGER. I AM A REAL boxing fan & know when i smell cow dung. martinez hasn't made 154 in almost 2 years. he has gotten bigger then what he previously use to be.....he cuts about 15 pounds just to make the weight that he's at now. martinez claims that cotto isn't a MAN if he doesn't fight him but RUNS from challenges at super middleweight. cotto in realty is a war torn blown up welterweight....the guy martinez fought against tonight looked like a kid compared to him....cotto would look like a TINY doll. Looks like Pac and Cotto fans are nervous as hell to have their fighters against Martinez. As a Floyd Mayweather fan, I would love to see Floyd take on the challenge. That would be one fight where Floyd would not be a clear favorite to win for me.

Again as long as Martinez CAN come down to 154 for Mayweather,Cotto,Margarito or Pacquiao no one should offer excuses on why Martinez cant face them, Martinez is a big name now he deserve other big names in around his weight, People telling him to fight Pirog is just an excuse, He just fought someone who IS like Pirog in Dzin and KO the guy, If people like Pac or Mayweather want a real challenge then Martinez IS the challenge..Instead of cherrypicking guys who are shot but still have a name like Mosley why not fight a guy who has a name, Isnt shot and hot right now...NO?
