  • The title is misleading. Dibella said it, not Martinez. Martinez almost never trash talks.

U are SO right!!! The last time SCUMBAG PARASITE Arum put 1 of his fighters against Martinez was Pavlik & look at what happened!!! & the ONLY reason Arum did the Martinez/Pavlik fight was cause Arum didn't want Pavlik to fight Williams & since Martinez had just lost a very close decision to Williams & many thought Maritnez won, if Pavlik(who was the heavy favorite) would have clearly beaten Martinez, that would have been Arum's perfect excuse to avoid Williams... The ONLY way Arum puts his fighters to fight fighters he doesn't promote is if his fighter is a heavy favorite(for example-->Margarito vs Mosley, Pavlik vs Martinez, Cotto vs Mayorga, Juanma Lopez vs Rafael Marquez) But if it's a toss up between Arum's fighter & the other promoters fighter, it's NOT gonna happen!! Unless the other fighter sighns with Arum.. & SCUMBAG Arum will ALWAYS have the same lame excuses not to do the fight, for example he will try to minimize the other fighter by saying they are NOT PPV material or somehow he doesn't know who they are(like the 1st time Arum was asked to put Juanma against Caballero, & even thou caballero was the 122lbs IBF & WBA champion, Arum said he had never heard of Caballero!) or he will say the famous "They OVERPRICED themselves", or Arum's fighter could make ALL THE DAMANDS & ADJUSTMENTS IN THE WORLD, & it's OK, but if the other fighter makes just 1 demand, then according to Arum all of a sudden the other fighter is doesn't want the fight & is looking for a way out & Arum cancelles negotiations & the fight is OFF!!! He's just a ***en GREEDY SCUMBAG that's ***ing up the sport with his S H I T T Y tactics!!

I hear you but my point was that you said Floyd would never do it but there is an article of him saying it's possible, so saying he will never do it is mute because regardless if he will or not, he didn't turn down the idea like Pac did about fighting Martinez. All I know is, Floyd would have to be hungry as hell to fight Martinez. Can't fight Martinez without beasting out.

Yes he can fight at 168 but he's more close to 154 and i for one would LOVE to see him against all those 4 names, Whoever wants to step up out of those names, You wouldnt see me making excuses or telling Martinez to move up just because he has Mayweather on his sight.
dont forget fighters in his weightclass...

I been a fan of Sergio Martinez. The fight is only fair at 154 considering Floyd, Pac, Cotto and Margarito fought there already. Any weight lower is cop out to not fight. Floyd said he would move up, Pac said Sergio would have to move down. Floyd said it's possible, Pac said it wasn't. Why is it jumping on the bandwagon when Sergio Martinez earned the respect? I never was totally sold on Miguel Cotto but dude earned my respect. Am I on his bandwagon as well?

Guys like Floyd, Manny, Cotto did there job moving up weight so can he.

Martinez said want to be a number 1 P4P fighter then he must be go north unfortunately for him no cash cow there. If he can still make at 154 why he didn't fight Dzindziruk at 154? Credit for him defending his belt against a fighter nerver fought at 160(Correct me if I'm wrong) but it is a much credit if he challenge Dzindziruk at 154 and hold 2 belts in 2 division at the same time.
You have a point but Dzindziruk didn't have a problem moving up for the opportunity. If that is the case. According to you. Pac or no fighter should get credit for beating fighters in different divisons. High or low. Sergei was/is a prime, undefeated, high ranked fighter. On top of that, Martinez was a champion at 154 just last year. Good win for Martinez.
