    Two thoughts on Martinez:

Sergio Martinez IS the #1 p4p fighter right now. He has beaten all top young opposition in rapid succession and in spectacular fashion.

No old washed up fighters or fighters that are smaller than him. Or weight stipulations that make a mockery of a title fight.

The other thought is that today the commentators were really on Roy's nuts tonight. Comparing him constantly with Sergio. I like Roy as a person he seems ok. BUT....

Sergio is a much better fighter than Roy ever was. Even at this age with the recognition he still wants to fight real challenges.

This is the worst thread ever

Sergio isn't even a fraction of the fighter Roy was and Sergio just fought a smaller guy

Dzinziruk is a young 35, huh?

Sergey is 35 and hasn't fought at MW in a decade (156 was the most he weighed before tonight). He fought Sergio for a ****ing diamond belt at MW. Yup young fighter, no weight disadvantage, for a legitimate title shot...

I don't like him calling out Pacquiao or Mayweather. They're too small. Martinez is a big MW. He should move up in weight or fight true MWs now.

Martinez doesn't duck anyone, that why he gets mad props. Not sure about the Roy comment. Martinez is a very special fighter though, he is the type that doesn't come round often.

martinz and pacquiao are both the most consistent fighters around today
we need more fightsers like that to lift the game

you never know roy might come out of retirement to fight him

It's easy not to "duck anyone", when you're calling out smaller fighters. Move up in weight Sergio. Watching you fight Pac at 150-154 or you going lower for a catch weight fight is bull****.
