Cotto-Mayorga was FIXED!

going into the 12th round, i was in a chat and i said that if mayorga gets ko'd or stopped in the 12th it's a fix. mayorga paying his dues the hard way, getting money off the table.

i'm surprised at the fight though, thought cotto would've done better, i expected mayorga to cause cotto to work in the fight, but i thought cotto would've really outclassed him, instead i saw cotto in a robotic sort of fight with doing enough to win.

i think cotto is starting on the backside of his career, whatever it was in his fight with margarito but cotto isnt the same and doesn't seem like he's going to be the same.

i just think that he should've been more dominant in handling mayorga, something like DLH did..... that really tamed the bully.

Cotto is the ****ing same you tard. A great technical boxer that doesn't deal with pressure fighters very well. He is the same fighter.

DLH was bigger and much stronger than Cotto though. I mean Cotto won all but what 2-3 rounds? While ending it with a tko victory. That seems pretty dominate to me.

yes that's exactly what i thought when i saw mayorga pretending he hurt his hand out of nowhere. mayorga had to lose by ko for betting purposes.

Come on. It was easy to see he was saving face by not getting knocked out in his last match. Wwhen Cotto hit hik with that hook he was out on his feet. When he got back up he knew Cotto was coming to finish him and he didnt want anymore punishment.

DLH is 5'11 and Cotto is 5'7. Mayorga couldn't impose his size on Oscar. Oscar had the reach as well. Cotto had to keep the distant close so he can flick the jab and tap the body, letting Mayorga eat the punches and throw some bombs.

Why do people like to compare completely different fighters, both in style and in stature.
