It's always funny when Clay fans complain about footwork. Clay himself had some of the worst footwork as is witnessed by the fact that Muhammy Clay was hit from pillar to post in nearly all of his fights.

Occasionally he would do the floating and shuffling (or what I call "clownin' and krumpin'") which consisted of merry-go-rounding (floating) and running-in-the-air-like-scooby-doo (shuffling). Floating is cowardice and shuffling is a useless gimmick (and only cool if you are a fan of epilepsy), but in the world of good-old-time-nostalgists useless gimmicks are more important than winning.

There is no point in discussing Ali nor any heavyweight champeen of that time with you, since I've checked your site and its on a agenda to badmouth and down talk all of them.

Frazier has a worse heavyweight KOratio than Chris Byrd, is shorter than Byrd, is less reachy than Byrd and is blind on his left eye.

Frazier is bottom #8 featherfist of all world heavyweight champs. The Klitschkos are at the very top. Hammy Clay is even worse than Frazier.

Why else do you think their fights lasted so many rounds? Because they have hard chins (Cooper anyone? Foreman anyone?).

They are both featherfists ("like a butterfly") and YOU CAN SEE IT when watching Ali vs Frazier.

What a brilliant argument: "He think 70s overrated. Me no talk not with Clay critic".

Thank you for quoting me (= spreading the truth).

Thank you for supplying me with a new quote for my section "How deluded AliFans reply".

Psst, Frazier was such a featherfist they should have called him "Strokin' Joe Frazier"

Ali's KO's are far more impressive than the Klits.

Floored Big George Foreman for the first time.
Floored Big Chuck Wepner for the first time.
FLoored Iron-chinned Oscar Bonavena, gave him his only KOloss.

These fighters were all heralded as unfloorable before Ali fought them. Who on Wlad's resume' was considered strong chinned going in?

41 year old Ray Mercer is the only one I can think of, the rest didnt have enough fights to really build a reputation.

Chuck Wepner was fighting in YMCA's...big deal...Spider Rico couldnt knock him out? OH NOES. The sad thing is the Wepner fight went 15 rounds...the dude was 36 years old, never won a meaningful fight, had been stopped 7 times. Jerry Judge stopped him in 5. If Ali would have faced Jerry Judge, Ali would have been KTFO because clearly thats how boxing works

And those "big" guys you mentioned would have to change their name in the modern days. Instead of Big George Foremand he'd be "Average George Foreman" and Big Chuck Wepner would be known as "Undersized Chuck Wepner".
