calzaghe was a huge puncher before he hurt his hands! boxrec says so! here's more evidence that an early calzaghe could knockout anyone.

Whoever said Calzaghe is the best SMW ever is all wrong, Its a fact Calzaghe ducked a prime RJJ and even said that he didn't have a chance in hell. Styles makes fights and Toney is too good at SMW. Toney was a huge beast at SMW and was #1 P4P at the time. He would counter Calzaghe all night. Montell Griffin beat Tony but it was at LHW and was only because he was an awkward as hell fighter. Hell, Griffin gave Jones a few problems in their first fight.

most people think toney won both those fights but i could see calzaghe getting another gift by throwing more punches that don't land while toney lands all the clean shots. the work rate mongs strike again!
