You're treating it though like this was his style, and it wasn't. If you are seriously basing your predictions on fantasy fights solely on this video alone then I will have to agree with the previous poster who said this 4 minutes of SRL are the only moments of him you've seen, period.
The fact that he could approach the fight like this and completely break Sr's will and never let him mount anything is just another skillset he had. SRL generally is known for his boxing ability, blazing speed, and showboating though.
As I stated in the OP - he showed no respect for Sr's defense or the possible ramifications for punching a Shoulder roller with a right hand (rabbit punches, punches in the back region) and just fought a perfect fight for this style. Relentless.
Saying Pacman would knock him out is a serious stretch. Leonard is about as big as Margarito with all the skills in the world, too. Pacman would be dwarfed and wouldn't be the faster, stronger, or more powerful man in the ring.
As for the poster who mentioned SRL being the greatest fight ever - I tend to convince myself of this at times too. He had several gears and he used them all. He wasn't a 1 trick pony who was either reluctant to back up/defend or come forward/attack. He had all the tools in the world and is an ATG for his wins against incredible competition ALL THE WHILE having 4 years stripped of his prime because of his eye.
There are VERY VERY few fighter who I personally think can go through Leonards resume undefeated and pacman is FAR from being one of them - he is just too small.
Benitez, Duran, Hearns and Hagler come to mind as well as a host of other talent and 4 years removed from the sport.
