Lennox thought he was going to do a Ruddock on him & brought his own Razor with him to cut Vitali.... not knowing he was dealing with JASON from The Ukraine & not Golota/Grant or Botha. Beforehand he was going through the motions..NEVER in his wilodest dreams did he think this would be his last fight but alas he was taking on someone bigger & badder than he was who kept coming forward regardless of half his face falling off. You don't think Lennox has nightmares of Vk's face to this day just coming forward no matter what?
    Its funny you mention nightmares.

It was actually Vitali's wife who said that the Lennox bout was tearing her husband apart. She begged Lennox to give him a rematch because apparently Vitali cant stop thinking about it.

    This was in 2007.

For the record I respect Vitali but people here tend to over-rate him a tad.

If Haye ducks Solis, the way Bowe ducked Lewis then that olympic fight carries a new meaning.

      @SteelSpammer

Calzaghe is undefeated because he never b.tched out over an injury like Quitali did. It takes extreme discipline to remain undefeated through 46 bouts.

Dont ever compare that steroid abuser to Joe again.

Vitali is a crybaby who failed in his PRIME against a semi-retired Lewis.

If that's respect... I don't wanna know what your version of scorn is. CAN it joe c. Don't worry about Vitali's wife..thinking about her husband's well being.. Worry instead about Lennox's moms who NOW has the same nightmares of her lads last opponent after her staredown with him.

Joey***z is a pathetic lying troll who can't accept the fact that Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement.

              THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt, was holding on for dear life and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was badly hurt several times in the fight.

              punches landed

              Vitali 156

              Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

              Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

Lewis' career started in July 1989, he had a 14 year career.

Lennox "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age" Lewis was 37 when he got his ass whooped by Vitali.

37 isn't really that old for a heavyweight.

Vitali turns 40 in July and Wlad turns 35 in March.

Both Klitschkos have been in the pros for 15 years.

Vitali dominated Lennox "I'm at the peak of my powers" Lewis and scared him into retirement.

No, Haye has a 75% KO ratio at HW, he stopped 3 bums and got a bullshit gift decision against Valuev.

Wlad destroyed the REAL WBA Heavyweight Champ undefeated Ruslan Chagaev, who clearly beat Prime Valuev in impressive fashion, unlike Haye who ran like a scared little girl from old shot crippled Valuev the whole fight and set the all time record for fewest punches thrown in a 12 round fight. Chicken shit Haye only threw 143 punches in 12 rounds...that's pathetic. Valuev got robbed. Even the biased British commentators had Valuev winning the fight. Grandpa Holyfield did better against Valuev than Haye did.

Wlad is the rightful WBA Heavyweight Champ.

Haye is the definition of a paper champion.

When Vitali takes over for Wlad at the very last second..not giving enough time for HAYE to do the chicken dance..he No LONGER will have that heavyweight/cruiserweight combined percentage lead again so Iwouldn't gloat about that 75% cruiserweight fought record he taintedly holds & Vitali knocked out EVERY single opponent at same said stage of HAYE'S career & didn't let 3 fighters off the hook so please squash that noise & never bring into this equation again unless you're taking other divisions & bringing it into play>>>> kapish!

But, didn't Haye outland Valuev in the fight? I thought the fight was a draw at best. I don't see how anyone can say Valuev won. All he did was plow foward and constantly miss the jab. Atleast Haye's punches were more accurate and he actually hurt Valuev.
