    Solis Vs Klitschko.... The Truth!

We've got 10 days to the fight & all we're hearing is Haye/Klitschko signings. This fight right here is the one that has the potential to have the most intrigue as you haVE 2 very skilled fighters going up against each other. Some peeps are really giving this Cuban amateur legend a real shot of overtaking Klitschko. This guy is that good that most are waiting till the weigh-in to see what shape he's in to really make a prediction.

I'm one of those that think this dude will pose the same challenge regardless of the weight he's in because he's that skilled boxing wise. The lower the weight..the better the stamina if that comes into play but it won't make him any better at 245 as opposed to 260. Can he actually use that high guard defense of his & deflect punches with his elbows & keep coming forward..right through Vitali & get close enough without getting damaged? That's the question right there...

if he's able to do this..it's going to be a toe to toe affair as this will force Vitali to go to war instead of staying in the pocket flinging long range missiles. Sanders & Lewis have been the only ones to really be able to hit Vitali constantly & Vitali was FORCED to go toe to toe with them. Can Solis do the same? What say you?

I don't think you are exactly correct there. The Lewis fight was "toe-to-toe because Klitschko made it that way. The Sanders fight was only close contact for the first round or two because Sanders was rushing Klitschko hoping to land a quick, disabling punch. After the forst 2 rounds Klitschko hit him AT WILL, and Sanders could not respond, or defend himself properly.

Both Sanders and Lewis took a ton of punishment.

Ofcourse.. they took a ton of punishment for there efforts & ofcourse it was Klitschko who was dictating those exchanges. What i'm saying is that when these 2 fighters.. once they got through with punches... it became a brawl & there was a lot of give & take. Yes.. after the first 2 rds is when he figured & started to better time when Corrie was lunging in & countering.

With Lewis...it was Klitschko controlling things after 2 rds & a more desperate Lewis throwing caution to the wind, It was a be knocked out or knock out scenaRIO for him & he fought like that the rest of the way.

Klitschko's cut & deteriorating vision is what enabled it to be back n forth.. give & take as without that cut.. he was beating Lewis to the punch every time.. it was almost laughable how he was toying with Lennox in the second rd.

Thing is Areola...has that tgye of ability.. where he might be able to come forward & make something happen like those aforementioned fighters tried to do. He might have the come forward style of AREola but unlike him have some DEfense behind him while he tries to get close & that's why it could get interesting..

Anybody WHO THINKS they're going to slug with Vitali & get away with it just becaUSE the perception he's slower afoot & pushing 40 has another thing coming.

Vitali is of the breed just like Holyfield that when you actually hit him .. sets off a FIRE WITHIN>>> like how dare you touch me like that>>> do you know who i am.... & you just dug your own grave.. type of mentality. Both Holyfield & Vitali possess this inner fire when getting tagged.

I don't exactly agree with this. It was toe to toe because of Lewis' blatant disrespect of Klitschko in the very first rd. He had the gall to think he was dealing with Michael Grant or Andrew Golota & thought Vitali WOULD WILT if he came after him as i'm sure the perception at the time is that Vitali was just like Wlad when pressured. Boy... did LL **** up bigtime... HE almost got himself KTFO because of this... Klitschko was getting the better of it but make no mistake it was Lewis' not KNOWING who he was dealing with that set off there brawl for the ages.

Round 1: Lewis was semi-retired and half asleep. He thought it would be a boring outing.

            round 2
: he woke up and was like, ****, I may have to work tonight

Round 3: He rushes Vitali and brings it to the streets

Round 4: He starts resting again

Round 5: Vitali's trying to win on points (thinks its a basketball game) while Lennox destroys his face face.(knows its a fight)

Round 6: Lennox lands 2 or 3 bombs and Vitali holds for the remainder of the fight.

This was not a brawl of the ages. It was an old man, who had been boxing top level since 1984, fending off the best's, best of the next era.

              Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

              THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt, was holding on for dear life and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was badly hurt several times in the fight.

              punches landed

              Vitali 156

              Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

              Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

Lewis was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis-Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age"

In an interview right before the Vitali fight, Lewis said "I'm at the peak of my powers, I will keep fighting for many more years"

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement. That's a FACT.

Tyson and Lewis were both old men who had long, tough careers. Both had been fighting since 1984, before Vitali even entered puberty.

                  Lennox = Winner

                  Vitali = Cheater, Quitter, CryBaby

                    You're a pathetic liar.

Lewis' career started in July 1989, he had a 14 year career.

Lennox "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age" Lewis was 37 when he got his ass whooped by Vitali.

37 isn't really that old for a heavyweight.

Vitali turns 40 in July and Wlad turns 35 in March.

Both Klitschkos have been in the pros for 15 years.

Vitali dominated Lennox "I'm at the peak of my powers" Lewis and scared him into retirement.
