I had Pacquiao winning that fight but the headbutt made it look like Morales was winning to the untrained eye.

      12th round

most badass thing i've ever seen in a boxing ring

i wouldnt call it playing with pacquiao, though,
more like being ahead and taking some unnecessary shots and risks while showing supreme cajones.

Erik wasn't shot at that time, but he's already past his prime

saw both three fights between them.... that first one is unarguably one for the books... pac lost... he got outboxed even if he scored two downs... regardless where the cut came from.... the fight is well worth to watch a second time... generation fighters at a go... this is how boxing is fight.... inside the quad, not outside of it with ya mouth....

Morles definitely wasnt playing with Pacquiao...I mean, he lost the round and took some brutal shots. Could he have won the 12th had he stayed orthodox and fought smart? I definitely think so. but 'toying' is when you **** around with someone and are still in control. that was no the case.

The man just wanted to brawl for enjoyment of the fans.
              What a badass.

Morales wanted to give entertainment to the fans and almost paid dearly for it.

Toying for me is sugar ray leonard making duran say "no mas".

I wouldnt even go that far, since Duran actually was still in the fight on the scorecards, even though he was pissed off as all hell.

best example I can come up with is Mayweather-Sharmba Mitchell. Mayweather turned southpaw and was ****ing around with Mitchell until KOing him with a body shot. that was complete control.

one thing for certain is that Morales was not toying with Pacquiao. I think he left a lot of himself in that 12th round.

Im tempted to mention that the headbutt was declared as a legal punch by the 'fair' referee. That affected the outcome considerably. but i wont mention it

What happened happened its part of the game.

Morales won that fight. and the 115-113 by all 3 judges were accurate.

I don't think Pacquiao will be as successful today if he did not lose that fight. The loss actually benefited his career. because Roach was forced to develop his right hand and improve his technique over all.
