Exactly what I believe. I think that Haye will try to move around the ring, trying to get and occassional hard shot against him. However, Wlad his a lot harder than Valuev, he's also faster and has much more technique.

One point that would be crucial is the footwork. Valuev had an awful footwork, while Wladimir has much better footwork and knows how to close the ring to his opponents. Haye will try to frustrate Wlad, but in a couple of rounds Wlad will be able to stop Haye from running and will start also slowing him down with his powerfull jabs. If Haye finally stands down, Wlad will KO him with his right hand.

My prediction is Wlad KO Haye in round 8 or 9.

Remember what some people said about how Haye is carrying a mental advantage and Wlad's alleged mental weakness will be his undoing before the first bell?

Here's Haye, in his own words:

Speaking with the BBC Sport, Haye said “I’ve looked in his eyes a couple of times in the last two weeks and he’s not phased one bit. He genuinely thinks I’m just an irritating little man who happens to have the title and he’s going to swat me across the face. I expect that because he’s had such a long campaign as champion that he’s not phased by me.”

Next thing you know Haye will be refusing to be in the same room with Wlad.

If David Haye can walk the talk then I'l say this can be a big time shocker .

I can see this fight being an absolute borefest/stinker of a contest.

Haye claims he's going to rattle Wladimir and be all over him, making the fight an exciting and explosive one with a fairlytale ending. I'm sure Haye will employ similar tactics like he did vs Valuev, looking for openings, but I don't see him getting to many.. Wladimir fights safety first, and cautiously, especially early on, so Haye will have to pressure Wladimir into making him throw, but Wladimir will happily sit back and do nothing. Haye will probably be eager to get his shots off, and there is a possibility he walks onto something big early, as Wladimir will invite him in.

If Haye is actually serious about blitzing Wladimir then he has a good chance early on, but fighting over the distance isn't ideal, and certainly not in his favour. Haye needs to make this fight scruffy and into a brawl, completely taking Wladimir out of his comfort zone, maybe play dirty with some rabbit punches to the back of the head to rattle Wladimir early. Haye must take a no-nonsense approach, no holding, leaning, or any of that. Haye needs to be in-out with quick combination punches.

I see a methodical and safe first approach performance by Wladimir, probably knocking Haye out late 8-10 rounds. Haye chin hasn't been tested at heavyweight, being in there with a man who knocks out the majority of his opponents spells 'danger' for Haye. And I could easily see Haye going into retreat after Wladimir lands one of his straights, even the stiff jab packs some serious power...

Haye is to unproven at heavyweight, fighting mediocre opposition, he'll be found out as a blown up CW (in my opinion). Wladimir is a different beast to any of his past opponents, he's actually athletic and uses his attributes to his advantage - he won't be giving any of them away either.

I don't see how you can go against Wladimir.. He's proven, with good skills, and has destroyed everyone in his path since his loss to Sanders. That being said, there is a possibility Haye could actually do it, but I'm not sure, IF he is prepared to take risks and make this a 'fight' then his chances rise.
