I respect Jr. over Canelo any day, even if he's spoilt and lazy. And judging from Oscar's quote earlier, they're the ones ducking Jr.

well IMO I think the difference in career paths is also the difference in mindsets between the two promotional arms

Top Rank was never in a hurry to get JCC Jr to a belt and despite huge criticisms thrown Jr's way they stayed on this path. Also, with Jr's renown laziness they had to be patient with him

Golden Boy sees their young charge as a hard working talented kid who can take on the best in a very short manner and have positioned him to do just that. Good or bad Canelo is now a champion with everyone gunning at him and his belt

and they are comparable because of what has happened in recent events. Canelo is now a champion, Jr will fight for a championship. Should he win then they both will have people gunning for them and rightfully so

haha seriously? chavez jr. speaks of somebody fighting lesser, and extremely under-matched opponents? While I do agree that Zbik is a somewhat legit champ, and more of a challenge then hatton was for alvarez (mainly cause he's about 20 pounds naturally lighter), Jr. and his ENTIRE IMAGE is built on a very flimsy house of cards, each one very carefully, and meticulously selected.

I sense jealously coming from Chavez jr!
well if Baldomir had been active then I would consider it more significant but he had largely been out of the sport for two years save for one nondescript win in Argentina. Prior to that he had looked horribly ordinary in beating a never was in Perez and a guy Randall Bailey smoked in one.

I can feel him to a degree but Chazev Jr. really has little room to talk.

And when did Zbik become the real champ did he defeat Sergio when i wasn't looking? Real titlist okay but there is only 1 real champ

you right - Even Oscar wanted to make the fight I believe, but Chavez hid behind Arum and the cold war being fought between the two. (arum and oscar).

I think Alvarez has more upside then Jr. Both really aren't nearly as bad as one might believe from some of the hate, it's just we don't know how good they are either.

both of them wont be facing/havent faced real champions

the quality of there resumes only differs marginally

chavez jr gets less respect from me because he hasnt looked great beating the likes of vanda, lyell and cuello. aside from that he's used diuretics to make weight in the past which is the same as cheating imo. their sole common opponent panda believes is cuello who was beaten up by canelo en route to a stoppage while chavez jr struggled with him at times

You've got to be joking. A KO doesn't make a horrible match any better than it should be. The KO was impressive over a **** opponent.
