while I know Tyner beat Smith what he did post win is what I base this on and it looks to me like Tyner beat an unproven guy in Smith more than anything considering his draw against Favela who I think has lost 7 in a row now and a loss to a literal unknown.

Duddy may not have a resume ala Froch but he along the way has beaten some tough fringe guys

I think the main issue I have Jr.'s comment is that it took a lot longer for him to get to that point.

He's been fighting for two more years than Canelo.

There records shouldn't be comparable.

Disagree, Canelos kO over Carlos Baldomir was better then anything Chavez has ever done in any of his fight, hes never been ko'd until he got in the ring w Ginger ...I dont see Chavez doing big tv numbers like Canelo or i have yet to see him on HBO, or SHowTIme. Chavez Jr is the bigges joke in boxing right now. Has never face anybody with a decent punch or set of skills. Clearly ran away when there was a Cotto or a Martinez deal looming. As he said it he was the #1 contender and waited for a guy like Zbik to cum thru with his 10 KOs to his record.

Canelo at this point will run over Jr. Jr hasn't shown any skills or impressive punching power. He should be ashame in dissing Canelo
