Do they not care about Lee cuz he trains here?
i dunno why tbh, Duddy was liked (not many people really thought he was that good but he was liked) and he fought in the states.

Most experts here picked Lee to beat Duddy too if i remember right.

I talk to him and a few others every weekend about sports on xbox live.
      really?

Willie Casey is just entertainment gold, he probably wont get far but it'll be fun while it lasts.

Ive never heard anyone outside of this forum and the odd newpaper article (small ones at that) even mention Andy Lee except when he was meant to be fighting Duddy.

Really looking forward to this fight. It's probably going to be a pure boxing match, but it's an intriguing one. Both fighters have a lot to lose at this stage of their careers and neither can afford to lose. I'd prefer it if McEwan won as he's British, but I have no strong feelings either way.

Why would my cousin lie? he also said Andy lee vs craig mcewan is being shown on telly there.

He said Mcgee and mccloskey havent got a chance in their fights but he said Lee would beat Mcewan.

He defintely said Lee was most popular.

McCloskey is fighting Khan, and Magee is fighting Bute, thats why they dont have much of a chance.

I'd rate both better than Lee, but maybe i'm biased being from the north.

Im still shocked and baffled as to how Lee is more popular than Casey though. How can anyone not like Casey lol? Better than him, probably, but more popular?

He told me the irish tv channel has always shown andys fights no matter who he fights but Rte are not sure about wasting money on willie caseys fight as eveyone knows the likely outcome. Bernard dunne vs poonsawat mark 2.

He also says Lee s always on the boxing panel on RTE as he is highly respected since his amateurs days when he went to the olympics and won a few medal at big tournaments.

He reckons willie casey is a mickey mouse fighter who get an easy world title shot and it is not deserved because he has only beaten irish and british level scrubs.

I havent seen much of Lee since the Vera fight but I think he has been underrated since that fight. I remember him looking to be the better fighter for almost the whole fight until he got hurt. In some fights imo the better fighter doesn't always win and that was one 1of them

vera's a tough cookie though. i remember lee slowly getting broken down in that fight, but its been forever. mcewan had the pop to keep vera honest.

of course, neither guy fights like vera so it's not the best indicator, lee is a tall sp though so I'm not sure how mcewan will handle that.....its a close fight
