Goodman you must be a ****** Doctor the ringing comes from damage to the 8th crainal nerve or vestibular damage in the inner ear from getting hit with hooks to the the temporal region of the brain. I'm no Doctor but I do have a an injury to that portion of the brain and I know what causes it. Second as a Doctor you know this ringing can't be seen in an MRI or cat scan. What you need to say is Erik Morales needs an EMG done to test Nerve damage, He needs amn ENG done to test for Vertigo or any other balance problems cause you know that 8th crainal nerve damage or any vestibular damage to his inner ear will cause ringing. Last an EEG should be ordered to check for abnormal brain wave activity. Your about the most ******est Nuerologist I've ever seen.

If he won a title at 135, that would be his fourth weight class as a champ, but JMM didn't want to fight him, so Morales went for his second choice which is Maidana at 140.

Your 100% wrong in thinking that's the only thing that causes ringing. I also laugh at posters who question people who went through a decade of medical school....hahahaha

I had a friend that had ringing in his ear and it wasn't from any damage to the ear itself, it was part of his brain and needed actually brain surgery to fix it.

Morales was a great champion, time for him to move on tot he next chapter in his life. This will not end in a good way.

I have a feeling we might see Ali vs Larry Holmes.....I just don't want to see this.

how is damage (trauma, or blows to the head) to the head not a part of boxing, dude?

          that's litterally what is scored
          the effectiveness of punches

The thing is Goodman sounded like a politician! This is a pointless interview. Everything she stated began or ended with "there needs to be an evaluation!" She refused to commit to anything because she doesn't know. This article should have never been printed because it tells us nothing...

This Fight WON'T END WELL FOR MORALES!

I'm hoping this fight doesn't end tragic, but it does have potential. A very ******, dangerous fight for Morales that won't end well for him. Maidana should have been fighting Katsidis.

                Why Not?!!?

                You want Morales/Maidana bloodshed? Let's bring back Pazienza/Haugen 4. How about Pacquiao/Hatton 2?
