Any champion who want's to move up and fight bigger guys is deserving to fight for the title... Much more it's Pac who's the P4P king and a legend already.....

While the Hatton fight was a gimme and shouldn't have been for the title, Alvarez's 2 victories over N'dou and Baldomir are more impressive than anything on Vanes' resume. The kid is 20 years old and is still developing. The corrupt ass wbc gifting him a title taints him in the hardcore boxing fan's eyes but makes him more attractive to the casual fan. He has the potential to be a HUGE draw and golden boy is capitalizing on it.

I won't hate on Vanes, but he hasn't impressed me recently, and until he puts on a better performance against anyone with any significant (even a former champ), there isn't much he can say.

Vanes has a good point about the joke that is Canelo. But should Vanes really be complaining? I don't think he's any better than Alvarez but he's still getting the opportunity to fight the top fighters in the division for a chance at the belt. agree agree...BUT DUDE....don't put Vanes and Angulo in the same sentence EVER again...Unless it reads Angulo brutally KO'd Vanes in the fourth round and cracked his big ass nose.

Angulo got screwed not Vanes. Vanes needs to put up better performances to prove he's a REAL contender. That ZERO don't mean shiat. Angulo and PAC have losses and they are regarded top 3 in their respected divisions.
