on the flipside, could Pac take Canelo's power? he's probably a bigger puncher than Cotto and Margarito.
as you said, it could very well be a win by KO by Manny. as for canelo's power, i really can't say if he hits harder than cotto or margarito. i've never been punched by any of them, so i can't compare.

the problem here with canelo is that he's not in that many fights with notable fighters for us to have a reasonable gauge of what he's capable of.

one thing is for sure though, Pac would most likely win with the only question being how he will win.

The fight provably won't last more than 5 rounds, but am sure it would sell on pay-perview.

Pacquiao's weight against Margarito VS Canelo's weight against M. Hatton, Pac by UD.

Once Pac is on the decline, you will see Bob Arum will agree with Top Rank to have a fight with Canelo.

Manny Pacquiao vs Saul Alvarez in 2012. This will be the revenge for the Mexicans.

Don't buy that HBO crap, he's not a bigger puncher than those 2, especially Cotto in his 140 pound days...

I would expect Pacquiao to stop Alvarez, but against anyone with speed and power at 154 Pacquiao will not look brilliant. It's a weight class too high IMO.
