how many rounds would it last at 154 and do you give Alvarez a glimmer of hope to win?

that would depend at what weight class they're gonna fight at. the higher the weight class, the longer alvarez would last i imagine.

Margarito went the distance, you think Alvarez would too?

i'd like to think so. plus, at that weight, pac's power isn't as effective.

granted, but Alvarez's chin may not be as good as Margo's, he was rocked by Cotto Jr, Alvarez might also struggle with the high pace at which Pacquiao fights. I think it could be a KO.

on the flipside, could Pac take Canelo's power? he's probably a bigger puncher than Cotto and Margarito.

Its not the weight but the height. Ask Margarito (who had to have facial reconstructive surgery on his face) if Pac has power at that weight. And Pac had to throw his punches upward which takes away pop. It was a massacre and he showed mercy the last 3 rounds.

Canelo is 5' 9" and Margarito is 5' 11" and they both have no head movement at all. Pacquiao would TKO Canelo around round 7-8 and even quicker if he wanted to trade with Pacquiao.
