Yeah, I have nothing against Hatton, and I mean, this is a good career decision under the circumstances, but I'm just tired of all the bull**** politics and the fighting that it causes.

Like, if/when Hatton wins him and his people (and his fans) will go around and talk about how he is a 2-belt champion like it's some big ****.

Meanwhile Mayweather and his people will do everything they can to discredit his success.

So nothing will be settled and we'll have a whole bunch of new arguments starting on both sides.

I guess this is why Howard Cossell walked away from boxing...this stuff tries your patience, for sure. Not that I'll ever stop being a fan or anything.

Maussa is a bum fight and is about as credible as actually throwing a real bum in the ring against Hatton...Hatton shouldnt get any respect now nor should he gain any after. I am sure all of the Hatton supporters will jump in but I mean admit it your boy is acting like a little *****.

            Future argument on Boxingscene:

            Poster #1:
            Floyd deserves a 50-50 split, he's the p4p champion.

            Poster #2:
Hatton holds 2 belts, he deserves at least a 75% share of the take.

            I can see it now...

Belts mean jack, a lot of people use that excuse but when it is against them they act like it means something. What a bunch of hypocrites, although I will give credit to Hatton for dethroning Tszyu but be a champion damn it, the man you beat was one of the best and belts meant jack everybody knew he was champ so if you are going to dethrone a champion you better uphold that stature or the public will spit in your face. Also the purse split cant be brought up. Arum made an offer to Warren earlier this year and Hatton was making out more purse wise but Mayweather was getting a cut out of ppv plus his standard payout Arum pays him....So once again lets see the public use that as an excuse.....I hate Hatton and his ****** fans, **** or get off the pot.

I really can't see Maussa lasting more than 4 minutes in the ring with Hatton.

But before all the Mayweather fans jump on the band wagon... I will have to remind you that this fight is coming after the Kostya Tszyu fight... Which was a TOUGH fight! And it is for the WBA belt.

p.s... Who has mayweather actually fought since Castillo II back in 2002', so if Mayweather is allowed to get away with fighting bums... Surely you can let this one slide this time?

Who has Hatton fought in that timespan except Tszyu though? Floyd has more victories at the elite level under his belt, overall.

I'm not here to talk about that though. The thing is that if/when Ricky wins this one people will talk about him having 2 belts as if that means something. Sure, the one was earned legitimately, but this one is a gimmee. But I have a bad feeling that that aspect will get lost in the shuffle when the debates start up.

Hatton has been fighting bums his whole life, I would hardly say that the Tszyu fight was hard on Hatton possibly hard on Tszyu but not on Hatton...Hatton shut him out.

I would say Gatti was Mayweathers last good opponent, but I **** on Gatti as well and I **** on Hatton for possessing the same skills of just being a brawler.

If you remember, Floyd Mayweather fought Demarcus Corley last year and that is a guy who brings merit to the 140 pound division.

Let Hatton get in their with a young and fresh guy who possesses a tremendous amount of speed and doesnt only load up his right hand and see how he does.
