Yes, he said - and his doctor also said - that he still hasn't fully recovered from his abdominal injury. Unlike Haye's fake injury, Wlad has at least provided medical evidence (which he had to do in order to get out of the Chisora fight, as Warren would have sued otherwise).

Most people here don't believe that it's genuine, but none of the alternatives are any more convincing, IMO, given that Haye had gone out of his way, just before that, to say that the Chisora fight was not an obstacle as far as he was concerned, and that Chisora was about to be brutally knocked out by Wlad.

But no one knows for certain what the real reason he pulled out was. And most people don't care, as long as he fights Haye.

Unlike most, I think the injury may well be genuine, because I don't think the alternatives make much sense either - but I don't know and nor does anyone other than the Klitschko camp.

you are a pretty articulate guy dave but come on...hes a doctor in sports medicine & if i can get a sick note im sure wlad can too...he's not hurt & the chisora fight was a joke anyway...his injury is not valid...

I can't stand fans who think trash -talking is some sort of talent, when in fact its something dumb, uneducated fighters resort to in order to cover up their fear of getting embaressed in the ring. In your opinion, why do Wladimir and Vitali stand "no chance" against Haye? I've seen you say this in several posts but you haven't said why.

so ali was a dumb, uneducated fighter??? trash talk is part of the physcological warfare, but not everyone does it because different people have different personalities. it is not 'to cover up the fear of getting embarrassed'. i dont think mayweather was scared of getting beaten by gatti or hatton, but he still trash talked. plus it builds hype and therefore makes more money - the klits will be grateful for hayes trash talk when it comes to cashing the cheques.
