Canelo Alvarez is not champion material, and never will be. He just showed the world that he just dont have it. Against a hand picked fighter like Hatton he looked bad. Now imagine how he would do against top fighters like Berto, Mosley, Martinez, etc. Heck even Sergio Mora would blast this kid out the water.

That said, De La Hoya Chavez Jr's fame will never be big, so u might as well make them fight now before Chavez's fame starts getting smaller.

why is there "no interest" for this fight right now? how could they possibly "build it up" or hype up the fight if neither guy has fought any top competition yet? it would be good competition for both guys, and a competitive fight. Are we just gonna keep seeing Chavez Jr fighting cab drivers and Canelo fighting guys who can't punch back?
