I can't see why there is so much hatred towards canelo on this website. for a 20 year old kid he has done fairly well so far and although his resume lacks any world class opposition, he has bested several savvy veterans and former world champions. he has been matched much harded than chavez jnr, even at this stage of his career. when saul eventually grows into a middle weight in 3 or 4 years time i think he would wipe the floor with chavez jnr, if martinez or cotto hasn't already got to him first.

It's because he's popular thats really all this is!

i honestly think canelos power is a bit overrated,he has above average power,not devastating power,i guess i would have to see more fights of him,but one question that remains to be seen is if he can take a punch,and guys like angulo and kirkland will test him good,if he can take a punch and even with the power he has now he'l be fine,he's still learning and he isn't the fastest guy but he isn't slow either,he throws good combinations and he needs to work on his defense which i'm sure he will,he has a lot,a lot of time to improve
