I guess considering the circumstances, it was impressive no matter what. Zab was really starting to fade though. He had the look of it. Then he landed a perfect counter punch. He could do that against Bradley and Khan maybe. Bradley, he'd have to catch perfect, and Khan he'd have to chase. Doubt he does that.

That low punch output will get him outworked and his defense, even though better, is not that great and will not be enough to carry him through fights.

That was plenty fair. I do think part of the awe with Zab is the fact that he said he would be different and he actually was, in a positive way. I asked the question because I saw 4 fighters this weekend that I cant see getting much better and the other two were Hatton and Judah.

Zab a couple years ago would have gassed out in 4 rounds. Thats the knock was on him for the longest. And now that he is fighting to conserve his energy for later rounds, haters still hate. Zab is fighting smarter then he used to and is not losing energy or burning it like he use to.

You'd need to have a perfect defense with the low output of Judah's. Agree with the bold, I saw so many opportunities where Judah could have thrown the left uppercut to the body, sort of like Bute. Hopefully he works on countering more often, I still believe in the guy.

i mean to say u werent impressed is one thing, but to say hes the same old judah is just false. he was boxing, moving around and picking his shots. trying to outsmart mabuza and set him up without leaving himself open. if theres anything to critisize its that he was too defensive and didnt let his hands go enough.
thats not the old judah. the old judah went in there throwing every punch in his arsenal trying to decapitate his oponent in the first 4 rounds, then usually gassing out bcuz of it.
to say he didnt impress is one thing, i disagree but hey its your opinion. to say he was the same old judah is wrong, its a false statement opinion has nothing to do with it. maybe its the old judah if u go all the way back to before he fought kostya, then he would also kind of fight like that. but i dont think thats what u meant. that would be a compliment.

But he was losing badly. The commentators had Judah's **** so deep in there mouths it was ridiculous. Any of the top JWW's would beat Judah IMO.
Apart from that i think you thread was spot on, He won the fight but he wasnt that impressive in the previous rounds, If he want to fight the Bradley and Khan's he need to up his workrate and work on his conditioning.
