Floyd Mayweather at 34 is DONE in terms of greatness

I just realized on BoxRec this dude turned 34 the other day. He's completely DONE, unless he fights Pacquiao this year, in terms of being ranked as an all time great fighter.

I believe he will be like Roy Jones, and fight on too long because look what he did when the IRS came after him he fought, if he had other stuff he could be doing he'd be out of the game by now.

His legs are gone, he's 34, he never really was a GREAT fighter, just a really good fighter who could've been great. He achieved a lot, like beating DLH and Hatton, but that's about it. He's a huge "what-if".

I always thought to my self, he better fight Pacquiao now before a couple of years goes by and all the sudden he's old. That time has come and I don't favor him over Pacquiao anymore. He waited too damn long and has been too inactive.

He's only 18 months older than 'prime' Pacquiao and shows no signs of decline.

I think he's settled for what he's done so far and wants to avoid anything risky. The zero has become everything.

Your right that 0 means everything to him. He thinks having the 0 makes him superior then any other boxer. But I strongly believe if they offer him the right amount of $$$ money he would take a risk.

Agreed, is this the TS trying to get an excuse in should Khan win in 2012 in a packed London Olympic stadium?

The difference is with Floyd when you rely on speed, footwork and reflexes those things start to slow down the older you get.
