So true. you can't do what he does with pure athleticism.

i think maynever is done ...cuz the guy has all this talent and never put it up against very elite competition the only ones i give him credit for was the corrales/castillo wins even though he clearly lost the first hatton win and the oscar fight even though it was close i thought pulled it off by a round or two but oscar was lil out of hes prime but still did what he had to do good job he earned it..but lets see the riskiest fighters were shane like 4 years ago/margarito who i think he clearly avoided and miguel cotto he didnt anything to do with those two which im very disappointed cuz its not floyd doesnt have the skill to compete with them but he didnt put hes heart on the line and thats why people dont give him the proper respect cuz he didnt put hes heart out there u see shane/cotto/margarito/manny/clottey all of em fought each other and floyd only fought one that is mosley and wayy out of hes prime he should have fought shane like 4 or 5 years back but anyways it is what it is u cant go back thats lost he lost that shining moment ...
only in the late 90's he put hes heart blood, sweat, tears on the line but as soon as he got some cash the dude was lost no more pretty boy floyd it became money mayweather and thats how he would b remembered for the money not the legacy he should have had......

Floyd is done, past prime, and way too inactive. If Pac vs Floyd don't happen this year, I don't wanna see it anymore! Pac gets nothing from me if he beats an old, inactive Floyd and that says a lot! I'm a very big fan of his but he gets nothing if he fights Floyd a day after Dec 31,2011.

Did you start watching boxing last week?

Cotto is like Manny's 7th best win.

Hopkins Barrera Marquez Morales Roy Jones and even Holyfield(yeah he is still active) have better resume's then Floyd.

Floyd is not done by a long shot. He stays in shape between fights, he's a genuine athlete. The style he fights means he's not taken too many shots let along hard, career shortining fights in his career and that all helps maintain levels.

Obviously with age the reflexes and response times slow but given his superior ability I think we got at least a couple more years where Floyd is tip top.

Floyd is not a ATG. When its all said and done Cotto will have the better resume than Floyd and Pacquiao will be the greatest of all time P4P alongside SRR.

The shame about the situation is this, he's the only one that cares about the zero. If he fought some great battles and lost, people would remember him for the right reasons, not the wrong ones.

How can you say someone is past their prime or done when they 1. dominated the last time they fought and 2. you haven't seen them in a ring since. Truth be told you have no idea where he really is in either regard. You can truly only judge by their last performance and if that's too far gone then you're simply guessing.
