I think you are right. He is laying all his eggs in one basket and is hoping Pac is his meal ticket to greatness. He knows he has been a layabout of late and feels guilty so he will fight Pac when the time is right. Eithe when Pac takes the tests or sees Pac abilities tail off a bit. He picks his opponents very carefully floyd.

A Floyd/Manny fight should happen but probably won't.
Floyd isn't a risky fighter look at his record the risky fighters he fought were past their prime, hell even DLH took him all the way and lost a debatable decision, Floyd learnt from that single fight not to face fighters who pose any kind of threat to his 0, I'd be more surprised if Floyd actually fights again let alone faces Manny, 41-0 is a nice record and has some big names mixed in and around it.

            Floyd Mayweather is an ATG.

            Not much else to say.

floyd should have about four or five great fights left in him, maybe more, considering he never gets hit and stays in great shape.

I think he's way too inactive. And he's slowing down. Has been for a while now.

True but a fighters career usually turns on a dime whether it be mental or physical. They either loose the ability or they loose the hunger for it.

Tyson Lost it all at once. With his legal troubles and bad rep he never really won a top tier fight again.

I think Floyd is done. His heart isnt in it anymore. Had Manny not come along and stole all the glory Mayweather would have stayed retired. He's only around in the media because he can't stand to see someone else getting all the attention. Floyd's heart is gone...

Now as for his skills. Still great but not all there. Watch is fight with Gatti and then watch anything else hes done in the past 3 years.

Manny is the exact fight he doesnt want at this phase of his career..

When the drug testing issue is resolved I wouldnt be surprised see some other obstacle thrown up by the Mayweathers. Probaly the Money split, location... you name it

Floyd's done with fighting, that's why he retired in the first place. He wanted to retire undefeated. The only reason he came back was because he needed money. He wanted to take the fights that would make him the most money with the least amount of risk. Now that he's got money, he ain't rushing to get back in that ring. He definitely doesn't wanna fight Pac...too risky. That's why he spends so much time hating on Pac, he wants to convince people he's better without actually having to fight him. Now, if he sees any weakness in Pac during the Mosley fight, he MIGHT decide to grow some balls and agree to fight Pac, but if Pac destroys the man that rocked him and lasted 12 rounds with him, we will never see Floyd in the ring again.
