    Yeah, but it's sort of like the Justin Bieber hate: He doesn't deserve the recognition that he's getting right now, because he's beat nobody of substance. Mexicans realize this. Despite that, he's still insanely popular. He's just not "Mexican enough", haha. He doesn't "look" Mexican.

      im mexican and i dont dislike him. he shouldnt have fought for the belt but i dont think his record is padded either. hes just 20 years old.

            Gosh you guys are idiots. Canelo has all of mexico and usa mexicans behind him. I don't know where the idea that mexicans dont like him came from. He easily does 20k attendance in mexico fights.

              saul is the best prospect out of mexico thats why hes popular. dosent your own country support its young athletes??

                    Well we certainly don't support Justin Bieber, and I'm Canadian!

                    I'm just kidding. He's got a lot of upside no doubt, but I think he's going to run into serious trouble sooner or later. He's just not as good as he's made out to be. He couldn't even get Hatton out of there last night, and he was CLEARLY the bigger man. He'll improve, sure, but I just don't see him competing with the big boys at 154lbs. He's just marketable. That's it.
