It was a joke of a fight and the fact that Roy Jones would not shut up about Canelos imaginary power was quite annoying,honestly i think Kirkland would have sparked Canelo tonight.

The fight was a mismatch but it was fun to watch and hatton was landing leather and was game the whole time. so after watching the great and exiting fight againts mathyse its a no brainer to bring zab back? Yeah right. But i think the fight at least belonged on an undercard or showtime.

I could care less about the ratings,that fight was a joke neither of them deserved a Title shot,i can understand rushing Canelo,but Matt Hatton are you fcking kidding me i can think of ten guys who are much better then Hatton who would have snatched up that fight.

well ratings is what hbo cares about. And yeah me too i could think of many guys who deserved the belt but you can blame that on golden boy. Canelo is just a prospect and was stepping up the belt is garbage. the only bash i got on canelo is that he needs to fight guys at 154 and not try to drop to 147.

It was actually close.

Zab was backing up too much in my opinion without throwing any punches. He did the Pernell moves way too much and didn't do anything afterwards.

Zab may have changed his attitude, training methods and gived his life to Jesus Christ but he's still the same ol' Zab: He's good and comfortable under control but if you put pressure on him, he'll bend.

Good win for Zab though.


And what the **** was up with the referee? First Cortez, now this guy. He shouldn't have allowed the fight to continue that long after the 1st knock down. Mabuza took way too many unnecessary punches. This **** is dangerous and awful to watch.
