The travesty here was the 99-91 scorecard. That was ridiculous. But that was a pretty close fight. And most of you apparently wouldn't know a robbery if it jumped up and slapped you in the face. Either that, or you just get off on crying about every decision that you don't agree with.
That said, I don't look forward to seeing Broner again, if that's all he's going to offer.Comment

I don't even think he fought scared,****** was more like it.Ur bigger, stronger more skilled, but yet a Mexican showed more lateral movement than U & outhustled U easily & was robbed. If I were Prior I'd never be a part of that trucks entourage again.Comment

I agree. 99-91 was rediculous John my man. But I still think it was a robbery due to the fact that Broner did not throw enough. He only dictated the fight in four rounds. Now it was four straight rounds, 4 thru 8. But after that the kid started coasting as if he had the fight in the bag, and trying to steal rounds after the 10 second clap(He didn't even convicingly steal the rounds that he attepmted to do that in). The kid has skills, but needs to concentrate more on employing those skills rather than showboating, and doing his best FMJ impersonations with lead rights and lead left hooks. He doesn't nullify his opponents work rate enough to get away with it to make it look as impressive as Floyd does.
The only robbery here was that horrid scorecard, imo.Comment

The kid has potential. He's fast, and throws beautiful punches(When he throws them). He also shows the ability to set great traps, and a very sneaky uppercut. He understands his way around the ring as well. I dont think he fought scared. I think he was trying to show off without knowing how to neutralize Ponce's offence. This was a fight where he sould've been trying to showcase a good mixture of pop and Boxing ability. He failed to do that big time.Comment
