He didn't win Jose Sulaiman's special Mexican eliminator though.

Like the diamond belt, that's the one that matters.

Yep. So he should be up next for Canelo.

I think Rhodes would be a great trainer. He's the closest thing us Brits have to a proper in-ring tactician. He's sitting on his ranking a bit though, which is his prerogative I suppose.
        Napa's my favorite.

Too bad he has a Buddha belly and can't go any lower in weight. He'd be very good at 105-108.

          Napa is good to watch.

But to be fair, he has lost to some fairly average fighters. British-Level at those weights usually is mediocre at best.

And his little belly - je-bus!

My dumbass would proly take Napa and the under and biitch about him like I did about Canelo failing in his task to win me money.

Very true and that's why I think he'd be much better off at 105 and 108. He's pretty much the same size as Calderon and has to deal with a lot of size disadvantages. Even then, he's able to deal with them sometimes. I thought he beat McDonnell clearly.

Were he able to make those weight classes, he'd be much better IMHO.

                  Well that wasn't even close.

So much for the good fight I expected.

Canelo fought well and made some improvements with his defense.

                  Rhodes.......I just don't know.

I don't think he knows either after tonight!

Difficult to assess that performance. I don't believe Rhodes is as poor as he looked tonight and while Canelo was on point I don't think it would be wise for his team to read too much into it either.
