    Saul Alvarez vs Ryan Rhodes

This is an excellent match-up at 154.

    Who you got?

    Ryan, tbh.

So experienced. I can't imagine him losing to such a young fighter.

It be a FOTY type of affair.

Ryan is no joke and Canelo is getting stronger with each fight.

I really like Ryan he is a very classy fighter. He must be one of the best Brits to never when a world title.

Canelo is strong but he doesn't mind getting hit, maybe he could run through him but I'd imagine Ryan would put him on his arse, and if connects right his back. Who knows?

If forced I'd pick the elder statesman - he's a cool cucumber.

Until Canelo out muscles a natural 154 fighter, I'll have to agree with you.

No one touches Ryan Rhodes - he's a hiding to nothing.

Apart from Jamie Moore, and I wish he hadn't. Moore had the momentum and might have been able to capture a world titles (Bundrage did).

              Rhodes ended Jamie's career, really.

I hope he gets a title shot but unless it's enforced nobody is going to seek out Rhodes to fight in that division. He's all risk.

Hey, Brian Magee got one so you never know.

Maybe if he wins a lackluster decision in his next fight, they will look his way.

                I know, wishful thinking.

Didn't Rhodes win a WBC eliminator when he beat Moore?

I think he's paid his dues.

I think Rhodes would be a great trainer. He's the closest thing us Brits have to a proper in-ring tactician. He's sitting on his ranking a bit though, which is his prerogative I suppose.
