    I had to do it.

But on topic, like has already been said Chris Byrd is the best win on Wlad's resume and he is elite if you ask me.

      Now stop saying silly things.

Wladimir Klitschko, depending on how is career goes, will probably be an ATG and/or top ten at HW by the time his career is over.
I can't see anyway he gets in the Top 10 but he most definitely will be an ATG HW IMO.

Your hero Tyson quit against Kevin McBum and Holyfield.

          Vitali-Tyson common opponents:

          Lewis KO'd Tyson in 8.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement.

          Williams KO'd Tyson in 4.

          Vitali destroyed Williams.

Tyson wasn't a true champion after he stopped fighting for boxing history. We all know that. And Tyson was passed washed up when he lost to Williams but Vitali was prime. lol You're such a troll. lol

What's silly about saying that? Byrd was an excellent fighter with wins over Holyfield, Vitali and a prime Tua. If you don't consider those the wins of an elite fighter then you might as well get rid of a good half of all the top wins on most ATG's resumes, because Byrd was easily the equal of many of them.

to be honest nobody in those lists is a true 'elite' like a Lewis or whatever which is whayt the OP was pointing out ... he was around Valuev and Tua for years the two guys in the divison with the best chance of beating him and somehow managed not to fight them (a few years back obviously tua is shot now and valuev too) Of your first batch of names there are a few decent fighters (Byrd) but nobody that anybody would call 'elite' and that wouldn't have gone down to the likes of prime bowe, holy, lewis, Holmes ... or any 'elite' HW champ in the last 50 years. Your second batch of names suffers from similiar problems ... again a few decent names like Chagaev but nobody that could possibly be described as great.

He has also lost to SEVERAL guys in his prime that true greats like Ali, Frazier etc etc would never have lost to in a million years. True greats in their prime lose to other greats ... not bums. Vitali proved himself against Lennox Lewis ... Wlad has yet to face anybody of that standard. Not necessarily his fault of course but there it is.

                    THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt, was holding on for dear life and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was badly hurt several times in the fight.

                    punches landed

                    Vitali 156

                    Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

                    Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.
one more fact .... Lewis won

No matter what Vitali does in the future, his copybook, like Duran's, will always be blotted by quitting on his stool.

I've no doubt he was in tremendous pain. But was he in more pain than Danny Williams whose ENTIRE SHOULDER came out of its socket and yet he not only got up from his stool but fought with ONE HAND and KTFOd his opponent?
