Honestly I think it would just take a very smart fighter giving him different looks, feints, and changing it up constantly every round. I don't like Mayweather much used to be a big fan of him LW and SPLW but his skills must be respected. Hate him or Love him the man is a very skilled boxer. I also think he is much better at adapting now than he was back in the lower weights.

pressure, presssure , pressure ......jesus chavez was pretty successful when he did it, but could 'nt do for the whole 12 bieng so small of a guy pushin around floyd , it took all the strength he had...pressure would'nt help without throwing punhces in bunches tho...

Reading you guys' analyses, it's pretty much that either Floyd beats himself or we have not seen the one to beat him yet. I beg to differ...it doesn't take anything extravagant to beat him. One just has to catch him on his off night and make sure whomever does is at their A-game that night. Tyson, Lewis, Jones, Mosley, etc, all had that fate. Time can be Floyd's enemy and it can be his best friend, which ever he wants it to be depends on him. I still say that counter rights with power over his body jab from the south-paw stance is his kryptonite. Reason being he has shown vulnerability to that punch in the past. Manny can throw that punch, but my problem with Manny is that he doesn't work off the jab that well and will be easy to read coming in. Remember the jab is a punch made to blindside your opponents. Boxers without a good jab will always struggle with master boxers.

          1) Put him in the ring with Pacquiao

          2) Send the IRS after him

          3) Ask him for ID

              Tactics?

Stay on Mayweather's left side, force him to lead, and counter. You're not going to be able to consistently land much on Floyd, so you might as well make him inefficient with his offense.

Look at the first few rounds of the Judah fight. Judah wasn't landing much of anything (neither were), but he won the rounds clearly by landing 1 or 2 clean head shots in the rounds. After the 4th round, Mayweather made Zab stay on and move to his left (Floyd's right), where Floyd picked him apart with clean crosses and left hooks to the head and body. Zab was still making Floyd lead and trying to counter, but he'd eat a cross before he could get off.

Floyd can see everything coming if you're standing on his right side and moving to the right, but you can hide the right hand from him if you're on his left because that's one of the main weaknesses of the shoulder roll stance/defense. A southpaw can sneak in a a straight left hand lunging to that blind spot too.

The human mind cannot fathom how to beat Floyd mayweather. He has the best straight right in th history of boxing, is the best body puncher in the game, best jab (when he wants to use it), and the best left hook. He can figure put any style and shut it down within 3 rounds. You actually can't even throw punches at him because he counters so well.

He's also the fastest fighter of all time, hands AND foot speed. He's never been beaten as a pro and the gives him more confidence than god himself.

He's 41-0 and fought all of the best fighters of his generation in or around their prime. His win vs Diego Corrales is the single greatest win incthe history of combat sports. He's the most widley ducked fighter in the world and also a top notch human being.
